About the role
The DevOps & MLOps Engineer will drive DevOps best practices and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS or Azure to streamline software delivery for GE Vernova in Chennai.
Responsibilities
- Implement and document DevOps standards to improve development and deployment cycles.
- Track DevOps maturity metrics and promote continuous improvement.
- Enhance CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with development teams.
- Design and maintain scalable cloud environments using AWS or Azure.
- Build internal tools and processes that boost operational efficiency.
- Provide technical training and foster a collaborative, learning‑focused team culture.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or related fields.
- 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in a DevOps or Cloud engineering role.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Skills
- Proficiency with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Practical experience with AWS or Azure cloud services.
- Scripting expertise, especially in Python.
- Understanding of Agile, DevSecOps, and NPI/OTR processes.
- Relevant certifications in cloud or DevOps technologies.
