About Genpact
Genpact is a global professional-services and technology-solutions company specialising in business-process management, analytics, digital transformation, and IT services. It traces its origin to GE Capital International Services (GECIS), established in Gurgaon, India in 1997 as a back-office unit of General Electric. The company spun out from GE in 2005 and was renamed Genpact. It is now headquartered in New York City and is listed on the NYSE; it employs over 125,000 people across more than 30 countries and reported revenues of around US$5 billion in 2025. India remains Genpact's largest delivery base, with major centres in Gurugram, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Kolkata. Indian fresher hiring is concentrated in process-associate, process-developer, software-engineer, and analyst roles across finance and accounting, supply chain, customer experience, and digital-transformation engagements. Genpact has been an active campus hirer in Indian engineering and commerce colleges for over two decades. Its Pravah trainee programme and process-developer hiring track are common entry points for freshers, often combined with structured upskilling on technologies like RPA, SAP, Salesforce, and analytics tooling.
