About the role

Q2 is looking for an Application Support Analyst in Bangalore to deliver mid‑level technical assistance for the Q2 Solution. The position involves handling inbound customer calls, troubleshooting application issues, and documenting cases with precision. Candidates should bring 2‑4 years of phone‑based software support experience, strong communication skills, and a customer‑first attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound technical support calls and guide customers through issue resolution.
  • Troubleshoot Windows OS/Server problems and basic SQL queries to restore functionality.
  • Log all interactions, categorize cases, and maintain detailed problem descriptions.
  • Prioritize cases, manage an open queue, and escalate complex issues to internal teams.
  • Collaborate with development, implementation, and QA teams to resolve challenging problems.
  • Participate in a rotating 24×7 on‑call rotation and follow change‑control procedures for production changes.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
  • 2‑4 years of technical phone support experience, preferably with enterprise software.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems and Windows Server troubleshooting.
  • Basic SQL knowledge and ability to query relational databases.
  • Familiarity with remote support tools and fundamental networking concepts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong organizational abilities.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow security and confidentiality policies.
