About the role

Paytm is looking for an Associate IT Audit professional to lead IT and cloud security audits, ensure regulatory compliance, and strengthen information security policies. The role sits within the Internal Audit team and requires 3‑7 years of experience in security auditing, especially in banking and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute IT and cloud security audits covering ITGC, information security, network, and vendor risk.
  • Assess compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies for both on‑premise and cloud systems.
  • Develop and update security policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices.
  • Document audit findings, risk assessments, and remediation actions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage third‑party risk assessments and ensure robust controls for cloud service providers.
  • Participate in security tool and technology evaluations, focusing on cloud solutions.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of hands‑on experience in information security and audit, with a focus on cloud security.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation abilities.

Skills

  • Cloud security and vulnerability management.

  • Identity & access management, encryption, secure development.
  • Incident management and security infrastructure.
  • Proficiency with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet, Checkpoint) and SOAR tools.
