This role is a premier entry-level opportunity to manage real-time data pipelines and index calculation engines for one of the world’s leading index providers. The successful candidate will support the automation and day-to-day operations of platforms that power global equity and digital asset benchmarks.
About the role
As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will contribute to infrastructure-as-code (IaC), containerized services, and environment provisioning. Your role is vital in ensuring that client-facing APIs and real-time data pipelines run securely and reliably across Azure and AWS environments.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing cloud resources primarily in Azure (with some AWS exposure).
- Support the build, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CI/CD pipelines.
- Write basic automation scripts using Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Monitor application performance and system health using dashboards.
- Help manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools and containerized environments.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field.
- Cloud: Fundamental understanding of Linux systems and Cloud concepts.
- CI/CD: Exposure to tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
- Scripting: Basic skills in Python or Bash for automation tasks.
