About the role

TransUnion is looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure for its Neustar services. The role blends system engineering, automation and monitoring, and requires hands‑on experience with AWS or GCP, Linux, and scripting.

Responsibilities

  • Design, provision and deliver cloud environments using IaC tools.
  • Automate infrastructure builds, SDLC pipelines and disaster‑recovery processes.
  • Monitor production and non‑production systems for performance and security.
  • Participate in a 24×7 on‑call rotation and perform root‑cause analysis of incidents.
  • Collaborate with Agile teams, providing assessments for cloud migration and automation.

Eligibility

  • 1‑3 years of SRE/DevOps experience on large‑scale, internet‑facing platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication and multitasking abilities.

Skills

  • AWS or GCP cloud platforms (certifications a plus).
  • Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Debian) administration.
  • Infrastructure‑as‑code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or Chef.
  • Container orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, EKS or GKE.
  • CI/CD tooling – Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket.
  • Scripting in Python and JavaScript.
