  • Write and maintain Tcl scripts to boost layout productivity within Innovus and related tools.
  • Benchmark Innovus against Synopsys Fusion Compiler and advise on tool selection.
  • Support static timing analysis tools and ensure robust timing closure.
  • Collaborate with central CAD, design teams and EDA vendors to evolve next‑generation methodologies.

Eligibility

  • Master’s degree (M.Tech or MS) in Microelectronics, Electronics Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven hands‑on experience with Cadence Innovus for end‑to‑end physical design.
  • Strong understanding of digital timing, CDC, MMMC and STA concepts.
  • Experience delivering full layout closure, DRC/LVS sign‑off and block‑to‑top integration.
  • Leadership experience driving block‑level closure and tape‑out success.

Skills

  • Cadence Innovus implementation system
  • Tcl scripting for automation
  • Floorplanning, placement, clock‑tree synthesis and routing
  • Static timing analysis (e.g., Cadence Tempus)
  • Physical verification and sign‑off flows
