About the role

The position is for a Firmware Engineer who will design, develop, debug and maintain firmware for NXP's SerDes Networking Solutions, working closely with hardware and embedded teams in Pune or Bangalore.

Responsibilities

Develop, test and sustain SNS firmware across product lines.
Integrate firmware with embedded hardware, ensuring smooth system‑level operation.
Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to support field applications and generate customer configurations.
Document configuration use‑cases and related components clearly.
Provide technical support for field deployments and travel as needed.

Eligibility

Minimum two years of hands‑on embedded firmware experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering.
Strong communication abilities.

Skills

Proficient in C, C++ and Python.
Experience with embedded Linux environments.
Knowledge of I2C, GPIO and SPI driver development.
Familiarity with CSI‑2 and eDP interfaces is advantageous.
Understanding of automotive or industrial automation firmware standards such as ASIL‑B and ASPICE is a plus.
