About the role

Intel is looking for a Low‑Level Software Engineer to create and maintain virtual test‑card models and validation tools that emulate hardware for pre‑silicon and post‑silicon verification. The position works on Simics‑based platforms, collaborates with hardware, firmware and software teams, and helps accelerate product quality and time‑to‑market.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, validate and debug Simics virtual models and associated software utilities.
  • Build and enhance automation frameworks that support validation of complex hardware‑software interactions.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to integrate virtual test cards into HSLE, PV and other validation environments.
  • Investigate and resolve system‑level issues spanning hardware, firmware and software layers.
  • Apply modern development practices, version control and automated testing to ensure code quality.
