About the role

HPE is looking for a Technical Support Engineer to join its Mist Assurance team in Bangalore. The position is full‑time and hybrid, requiring two days a week in the office. You will help enterprise customers troubleshoot networking issues, meet SLA targets, and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and resolve customer‑reported networking problems following standard procedures.
Reproduce issues in test environments and analyse logs to identify known faults.
Maintain SLA compliance for response, resolution and communication quality.
Collaborate with senior engineers for complex cases and share knowledge.
Create and update documentation and knowledge‑base entries.
Handle multiple tickets, prioritize work and operate with minimal supervision.

Eligibility

Engineering graduate with 1‑3 years of technical support experience in enterprise or cloud networking.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Willingness to learn, adapt and grow within HPE’s networking ecosystem.

Skills

Fundamental networking concepts (VLAN, STP, LACP, multicast).
Core IP protocols (ARP, ICMP, TCP/UDP, DNS, DHCP).
Basic authentication (802.1X, EAP) and wireless fundamentals (802.11, PoE, NAC).
Introductory routing knowledge (BGP, OSPF).
Basic troubleshooting and ticket handling abilities.
