About the role

The ML Engineer will join GE Vernova's AI/ML team in Chennai to design, develop, and maintain software that embeds machine‑learning models into commercial products and internal workflows. You will collaborate with data scientists, product managers, and cross‑functional engineers to deliver scalable, high‑performance solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and build scalable software systems that integrate AI/ML models.
  • Partner with data scientists to translate model outputs into production‑ready code.
  • Ensure applications meet performance, security, and reliability standards.
  • Write clean, well‑documented code and follow Agile/NPI development practices.
  • Contribute to internal tooling that improves operational efficiency.
