About the role

DNV is seeking an AI Software Engineer to design, develop, test and maintain AI‑enabled platform capabilities, APIs and services. The role involves translating product requirements into scalable, production‑ready systems while leveraging AI‑assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain AI‑driven platform features, APIs, and reusable software components.
  • Apply LLM‑enabled workflows for coding, testing, documentation and refactoring.
  • Develop backend services using Python, JavaScript/Node.js and ensure interoperability across platforms.
  • Integrate AI models, prompt engineering and extraction workflows into production systems.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring and security compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and take ownership from design through production support.
