About the role

Eaton India Innovation Center is looking for an Associate Engineer – Reliability to join its Electrical Risk Management Centre of Excellence in Pune. The role focuses on building and maintaining warranty analytics dashboards, analysing failure trends, and driving product‑improvement projects using data‑driven methods and emerging AI/ML tools.

Responsibilities

Design, publish and continuously improve warranty analytics dashboards for electrical product lines.
Collaborate with quality, sales, engineering, warranty operations, field service and finance teams to deliver actionable insights.
Identify emerging failure trends, perform deep‑dive analyses and recommend product‑improvement initiatives.
Lead PPIT/CAR problem‑solving projects targeting top warranty issues.
Act as subject‑matter expert for warranty claims, sales data and reliability reporting.
Promote a digital mindset by integrating AI/ML techniques to enhance dashboard speed and accuracy.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline.
0‑2 years of experience in reliability engineering or warranty analytics.

Skills

Field data analysis and data‑analytics capabilities.
Understanding of warranty processes and failure‑mode classification.
Knowledge of electrical/electronic components such as UPS and switchgear.
Proficiency with PowerBI, Minitab, 8D methodology and Python/R programming.
Experience with AI/ML techniques for large data sets (preferred).
