About the role

As a Software Developer focused on installation and deployment, you will create and maintain packaging solutions for AspenTech's aspenONE suite on Windows and Linux platforms. Based in Pune, you will work with product teams across regions, applying modern engineering practices and AI‑assisted tools to deliver reliable installers.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and maintain installation packages for Windows and Linux using tools such as Windows Installer and InstallShield.
Write automation scripts in C#, PowerShell, Bash or C++ to streamline deployment workflows.
Integrate installation processes with version control (Git, Perforce) and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps to gather requirements and resolve deployment issues.
Conduct functional testing of installers, upgrades, and configuration scenarios.
Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies and continuous learning of new technologies.
