About the role

Seagate is seeking software development interns for its Pune office to join the Supply Chain Operations and Services team. Interns will help build and maintain software tools that monitor storage fleets, enhance operational visibility, and enable automation, working with C/C++, Python and modern DevOps practices under senior mentorship.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test, and debug software components using C/C++ and Python.
Contribute to feature enhancements, bug fixes, and performance tuning of engineering tools.
Assist in building, testing, and deploying software using CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins or GitLab.
Gain exposure to container technologies and support related validation activities.
Document progress, take part in code reviews, and engage in team ceremonies.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and services.

Eligibility

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics, Data Science/AI, Electronics or a related discipline.
Graduation batch 2025, 2026 or 2027.
Strong interest in software development and problem solving.
Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.

Skills

Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
Understanding of data structures, algorithms and object‑oriented concepts.
Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments and Git version control.
Basic knowledge of CI/CD concepts and related tools.
Ability to write clear documentation and present ideas confidently.
