About the role
The Apprentice IT Development Program is a full‑time, entry‑level position in Eaton’s Master Data Management team, based in Pune, India. It offers hands‑on exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Medallion Architecture and emerging Generative AI, while working alongside senior data engineers and architects.
Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining MDM solutions on cloud platforms, primarily Snowflake.
- Support implementation of Medallion Architecture layers for structured data processing.
- Write, tune and optimise SQL queries for transformation, validation and analysis.
- Participate in data modelling and architecture discussions.
- Contribute to data‑quality, cleansing and standardisation initiatives.
- Help create data pipelines, Streamlit applications and workflow automations.
- Prototype Generative AI use‑cases for intelligent data matching and enrichment.
- Collaborate with data stewards, business stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Document technical designs, transformations and best practices.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or a related discipline.
Skills
