About the role

Barclays is looking for a Developer based in Pune to design, build and enhance software solutions that support business and platform capabilities. The role involves creating scalable, maintain‑able code, collaborating with product and design teams, and ensuring security and quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop high‑quality Java applications using Spring Boot and micro‑service architecture.
  • Build and consume REST APIs while integrating with enterprise systems.
  • Work with front‑end technologies such as ReactJS, JavaScript, Redux, HTML and CSS to deliver full‑stack features.
  • Utilise container platforms like OpenShift/Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Maven/Gradle) for automated delivery.
  • Participate in code reviews, unit testing and enforce secure coding practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers and other engineers to align solutions with business goals.
