About the role

AVEVA is looking for a Consultant to design, develop and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions. Based in Bangalore, the role blends backend development with front‑end integration and works in a hybrid setting, collaborating with engineers and production teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build and enhance applications using C#, .NET (Framework or Core) and RESTful Web APIs.
  • Write and optimise T‑SQL queries, stored procedures and database schemas on MS SQL Server.
  • Develop responsive UI components with JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Integrate MES with external systems such as SAP, PLCs and SCADA.
  • Gather requirements, contribute to system design and conduct code reviews.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in manufacturing environments and document technical details.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience with C#, .NET and Web API development.
  • Strong proficiency in MS SQL Server and JavaScript front‑end development.
  • Exposure to MES platforms and understanding of shop‑floor processes.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills

  • C# and .NET development.

  • JavaScript, HTML, CSS for UI work.
  • RESTful API design and integration.
  • Familiarity with industrial protocols (OPC, PLC) is a plus.
