About the role
The Associate Technical Support Consultant will join Altera Digital Health’s Technical Support team to provide first‑line assistance for enterprise healthcare software. The role is entry‑level, offering training on product suites, incident management, and troubleshooting while working remotely for customers across India.
Responsibilities
- Deliver first‑level technical support via ServiceNow or similar ticketing tools.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve application and infrastructure issues following SOPs and knowledge articles.
- Perform basic configuration, validation, and troubleshooting under senior guidance.
- Document cases thoroughly, meeting SLA, productivity, and quality targets.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, database, and interface teams when deeper expertise is needed.
- Participate in shift rotations, including evenings, nights, and weekends, and escalate critical incidents promptly.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude.
- Good analytical, problem‑solving, written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts and occasional weekend on‑call.
Skills
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, ports).
- Understanding of databases and SQL querying.
- Application troubleshooting and support fundamentals.
- Ability to use ticketing tools and follow documented procedures.
