About NVIDIA
NVIDIA designs graphics processing units (GPUs) and the computers, networking and software built around them. It calls itself an AI infrastructure company: its main business sells computing and networking platforms to data centres, and it also sells GeForce GPUs for gaming and PCs, RTX GPUs for professional use and Drive chips for cars. Its CUDA development platform, with libraries and tools for developers, runs on all NVIDIA GPUs.
In 2023 NVIDIA said it had worked in India for almost two decades, starting in Bengaluru, and had more than 3,800 employees there and four engineering development centres, in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune and Gurugram. Its offices page also lists Mumbai and New Delhi. In April 2026 its subsidiary NVIDIA Graphics took a 10-year lease on about 760,000 square feet of office space in Bengaluru, as it builds out its AI and engineering base in India.
