About the role

The Software Engineering Specialist will design, develop, and maintain applications and services across machine, cloud, platform, and application domains. The role covers the full software lifecycle, from requirement analysis and documentation to implementation and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

  • Apply SDLC best practices, Lean/Agile/XP methods, CI, and security guidelines while building features.
  • Write clean, standards‑compliant code and perform refactoring and testing.
  • Assess and optimise application performance using core data structures and algorithms.
  • Develop web services and query existing databases.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment, estimate tasks, and deliver high‑quality deliverables on time.
  • Stay current with technology trends, propose innovations, and experiment with new frameworks.
