About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for a detail‑oriented Software Engineer to join its Installed Base team in Bangalore. The role focuses on maintaining, supporting and enhancing existing medical software products for a global customer base, working closely with service, product and technical leads.

Responsibilities

Debug production issues at the code level and perform root‑cause analysis.
Collaborate with service, product development and technical leads to resolve customer‑reported problems.
Develop patches, hot‑fixes and minor enhancements for deployed applications.
Document fixes, processes and troubleshooting steps clearly.
Participate in global support calls and provide timely assistance for critical incidents.
Monitor performance of Portrait Mobile solutions and track outcomes using established metrics.
