About the role

Arista Networks is seeking a senior‑level Software Engineer to join the AGNI test automation team. Based in Bangalore, you will design and maintain end‑to‑end automated test suites for a cloud‑native network access control platform, primarily using Go.

Responsibilities

Create and expand automated test frameworks for authentication protocols, REST APIs, and device onboarding.
Develop utility libraries such as simulated RADIUS/EAPOL clients and browser automation helpers.
Analyse test failures, differentiate flaky tests from genuine bugs, and collaborate with backend engineers to resolve issues.
Maintain and improve Jenkins CI pipelines to ensure reliable nightly test runs.
Write comprehensive test plans covering happy paths, edge cases, and failure scenarios before feature implementation.
Mentor junior engineers and interns on test design and debugging practices.

Eligibility

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on test automation.

Skills

Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python for production‑grade automation.
Deep knowledge of Linux administration and networking tools (tcpdump, openssl, curl).
Experience with enterprise authentication protocols such as 802.1X, RADIUS, EAP‑TLS, TACACS+, and PKI.
Hands‑on REST API testing and client development.
Familiarity with CI/CD systems, especially Jenkins.
Strong debugging instincts and clear written communication.
