About the role

Sarvam is building a context engine that lets enterprise AI agents search, retrieve and remember information across documents and databases. As a Software Development Engineer you will own key parts of this platform, turning real‑world customer deployments into reliable, high‑performance services.

Responsibilities

Design, build and operate ingestion pipelines that parse, extract and index massive document collections.
Develop connectors to relational databases and enterprise systems for structured data access.
Model enterprise data, create ontologies and ensure traceability of every value.
Implement fast, cost‑effective retrieval APIs with search, filtering and citation features.
Create and maintain memory stores for agents at user, team and organization levels.
Run evaluation suites, diagnose errors and continuously improve answer quality.
