About the role

GE HealthCare is looking for a Graduate Engineer Trainee to join its manufacturing planning team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on maintaining a smooth flow of materials, creating production schedules, and handling shortages so that the factory can meet its output targets. Fresh engineering graduates with up to one year of internship or industrial exposure are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Develop daily and weekly master production schedules that align with plant capacity.
  • Release job cards according to MRP signals and manage exception messages.
  • Monitor material shortages, clear to‑build status and on‑time starts/finishes.
  • Collaborate with production line managers and operations teams to secure resource allocation and commitment to the plan.
  • Track production goals, report progress and ensure data integrity of job cards.
  • Support continuous improvement by analysing plan adherence and suggesting corrective actions.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Recent graduate or up to one year of relevant internship/industrial experience.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
  • Team‑player attitude with leadership potential and willingness to learn in a fast‑paced environment.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing planning concepts and MRP.
  • Analytical thinking and data‑driven decision making.
