About the role

Aptiv is looking for an Associate Engineer to work on Edge AI systems that run on heterogeneous devices. You will join a team that builds container‑less runtimes, OTA update mechanisms and cloud‑edge integration for mission‑critical applications.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and test components of the edge packaging and runtime platform.
  • Support OTA updates and lifecycle management for fielded devices.
  • Measure and optimise inference performance on constrained CPU/GPU/NPU hardware.
  • Maintain cross‑compilation and CI/CD pipelines for secure multi‑architecture builds.
  • Integrate device fleets with cloud control planes using REST/gRPC, OpenAPI and MQTT.
  • Diagnose hardware defects, create reproducible tests and keep documentation up‑to‑date.

Eligibility
