About the role

Qualcomm is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Campus Associate Engineers in Chennai. The position is full‑time, on‑site and focuses on building real‑time embedded software, device drivers and multimedia stacks for a range of Qualcomm technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement embedded software and drivers for audio, video, imaging and wireless modem platforms.
  • Develop mobile software for Android, Linux and Windows‑based embedded devices.
  • Work with OS concepts, data structures and object‑oriented design to create robust solutions.
  • Implement and test networking protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP, SIP and RTP.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver firmware, BSP and UI components.
  • Participate in problem‑solving, code reviews and documentation activities.
