About the role

Harmonic is hiring a Junior C++ Engineer to join its Bengaluru team. The role focuses on building and maintaining high‑performance networking software for broadband solutions, working on protocol layers, Linux‑based containers and cloud environments. Candidates will collaborate with global Agile squads and contribute to reliable, scalable code.

Responsibilities

Design and implement C/C++ features for MAC and upper‑layer protocol domains using modern C++ practices.
Develop and integrate networking solutions that run on Linux servers within containerised platforms such as Kubernetes.
Investigate, debug and resolve complex software issues reported by QA teams or customers.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, estimate work, review code and deliver incremental improvements.
Contribute to multi‑module architecture, ensuring new components fit seamlessly into the overall system.

Eligibility

B.E. or B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or M.E./M.Tech in a related field.
1–3 years of professional experience developing and maintaining C++ applications.
Strong grasp of operating systems, networking concepts and object‑oriented design.
