About the role

Visa is looking for an experienced software engineer to join its Platform Engineering team in Bengaluru. The role focuses on onboarding applications, automating deployments, supporting production releases, and driving platform modernization across cloud‑native environments while ensuring security and compliance.

Responsibilities

Assist development teams with application onboarding and adoption of platform standards.
Manage production and non‑production releases, including rollout plans, validation and rollback procedures.
Build and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipeline enhancements.
Support middleware components such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, API gateways and certificate management.
Participate in incident response, root‑cause analysis and creation of runbooks.
Contribute to security, vulnerability remediation and compliance activities.
