About the role

Quantiphi is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, architect, and operate highly available video‑streaming and inference systems. The role blends Kubernetes‑based platform development with backend Python engineering, supporting cutting‑edge machine‑learning research across its Bengaluru, Mumbai and Trivandrum sites.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain scalable Kubernetes clusters and container infrastructure.
  • Develop Helm charts, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, health‑checks and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Write production‑grade Python services using Flask and Gunicorn, integrating Redis, Kafka and video‑processing libraries.
  • Collaborate with ML researchers to expose inference services via NVIDIA Triton.
  • Contribute to hybrid‑cloud design patterns and ensure robust security and performance.

Eligibility

  • 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in platform or backend engineering.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
  • Immediate availability (notice period up to 15 days).

Skills

  • Kubernetes (CKAD certification preferred) and Helm.
  • Docker containerization and Linux administration.
  • Core Python, Flask, Gunicorn, and OOP design.
  • Message streaming with Redis and Kafka.
  • Video‑processing tools such as GStreamer, FFmpeg, OpenCV.
  • CI/CD, Git/GitHub, and deployment automation.
