About the role

TransUnion is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join its GCC India team. The position is hybrid, requiring office presence two days a week across its Indian locations. You will help design, build and maintain reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure while supporting continuous delivery pipelines.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain hybrid‑cloud infrastructure on AWS, ensuring high availability and security.
Develop, operate and improve CI/CD pipelines that deploy to Kubernetes/EKS environments.
Collaborate with development teams to streamline releases and enhance developer experience.
Monitor systems with Prometheus, Grafana and Splunk, performing root‑cause analysis for incidents.
Document architecture, processes and best‑practice guidelines for onboarding and troubleshooting.
Drive SRE practices, including automation, observability and compliance with SOC‑2 and ISO 27001.

Eligibility

Minimum three years of DevOps experience on hybrid cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
Hands‑on experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS) for at least two years.
Proven ability to work in mission‑critical, high‑availability environments.

Skills

Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
Strong scripting or programming in Python or Java.
Experience with CI/CD stacks and GitOps workflows.
Familiarity with security and secrets management in cloud settings.
Monitoring and observability using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk.
