About the role
TransUnion is looking for an Associate DevOps Engineer to join its hybrid team in Chennai or Bengaluru. The role focuses on designing, provisioning, monitoring and maintaining cloud‑based services, automating infrastructure and operational processes, and supporting 24x7 on‑call rotations.
Responsibilities
- Design, create and configure cloud environments using automation best practices.
- Develop infrastructure‑as‑code scripts to automate build, deployment and lifecycle management.
- Assess technologies and drive migration and automation initiatives to the cloud.
- Automate operational workflows, business continuity and disaster‑recovery procedures.
- Monitor production and non‑production systems to ensure performance, security and efficiency.
- Participate in a rotational on‑call schedule and perform root‑cause analysis for incidents.
Eligibility
- Recent graduate (2024‑2026 batch) with a strong interest in DevOps and cloud technologies.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to think critically and continuously improve processes.
Skills
- Hands‑on experience with cloud automation and scripting.
- Proficiency in infrastructure‑as‑code tools and languages.
- Knowledge of monitoring, CI/CD pipelines and system reliability.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
- Strong problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis capabilities.
