About the role

Standard Chartered is hiring a Senior Associate Frontend Engineer for its Wealth, Retail Banking (WRB) technology hub in Chennai. The role focuses on building modern, user‑centric digital banking applications using React, TypeScript and micro‑frontend architecture, while collaborating with cross‑functional squads that blend development and operations.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and deploy responsive web applications for internal staff and external customers.
Work closely with product owners and squads to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps and modern software engineering practices.
Contribute to the continuous delivery pipeline and coordinate with core DevOps and testing teams.
Maintain high‑quality, testable codebases and ensure security and performance standards.
Stay updated on emerging frontend technologies and share knowledge within the team.

Eligibility
