About the role

Snowflake is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain production‑grade data pipelines and models that fuel internal decision‑making on the Snowflake AI Data Cloud. The role involves working with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow while collaborating with senior engineers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and sustain end‑to‑end data pipelines on Snowflake, handling ingestion, transformation, and consumption.
Create, test, and document dbt models following team standards and governance.
Build and manage Apache Airflow DAGs to orchestrate Snowflake workloads reliably.
Ingest data using Snowpipe, Snowpark, and dynamic tables, applying quality checks and monitoring cost/performance.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and translate clear requirements into technical tasks.
Act as an internal “customer zero,” providing feedback on Snowflake features to product teams.
