About the role

Cognite is seeking a Data Engineer to join its Value Delivery team in Bangalore. The position focuses on building and operating large‑scale data pipelines for industrial customers in sectors such as power, utilities, energy and manufacturing. You will work with Cognite Data Fusion®, collaborate with data scientists, solution architects and product managers, and help clients unlock the value of their industrial data.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain scalable data engineering solutions on the Cognite platform.
Implement data ingestion, transformation, modeling and cleansing using SQL, Python, Java and REST APIs.
Integrate data sources through Cognite connectors and manage cloud services on GCP or Azure.
Conduct code reviews, enforce best‑practice standards and ensure production‑grade quality.
Support customers and partners in executing data‑engineering tasks with Cognite tools and SDKs.
Partner with engineering and product teams to translate client needs into roadmap items.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline (relevant experience may substitute).
