About the role

PwC is looking for a Senior Associate to join its Azure cloud data engineering team within the Data, Analytics & AI advisory practice in Bengaluru. The role involves extracting insights from large data sets, building robust data models, and supporting advanced analytics initiatives for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to surface trends and actionable insights.
  • Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Design and optimise data models that underpin reporting and analytics solutions.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical deliverables.
  • Assist data‑science projects, including forecasting and predictive modelling.
  • Apply generative AI techniques where they add value to analysis or automation.

Eligibility

  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduates with BE/B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Tech, MCA, MBA or related degrees.

Skills

  • Strong SQL proficiency.
  • Data modelling, exploration, profiling and cleansing expertise.
  • Solid understanding of data engineering concepts.
  • Familiarity with data‑science methods such as regression, clustering and time‑series forecasting.
  • Exposure to Azure cloud services and generative AI tools.
