About the role

The Associate Technical Support Engineer will join NICE's Cloud Operations team in Pune, monitoring a public‑safety SaaS platform on Microsoft Azure. You will respond to alerts, perform first‑level troubleshooting, and collaborate with senior engineers while gaining exposure to AI‑assisted diagnostics and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Watch Azure‑based dashboards (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Kibana) and acknowledge alerts promptly.
  • Investigate incidents by reviewing logs, metrics and recent changes, then document findings.
  • Raise and track tickets in ServiceNow or Jira, escalating to senior staff with complete information.
  • Assist during major incidents by gathering logs, running health checks and providing clear updates.
  • Write simple PowerShell, Python or Shell scripts to automate routine reports and health‑check tasks.
  • Contribute to SOPs, knowledge articles and troubleshooting guides, and help reduce false‑positive alerts.

Eligibility

  • 1‑3 years of experience in technical support, NOC, production monitoring or cloud operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline (BE, BTech or BSc).
  • Willingness to work rotational shifts aligned with US time zones and participate in weekend on‑call rotation.

Skills

  • Hands‑on exposure to Microsoft Azure and at least one monitoring tool (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, Grafana, Kibana).
  • Basic scripting ability in PowerShell, Python or Shell.
  • Familiarity with Windows or Linux environments and log analysis.
  • Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
  • Comfort using AI assistants like Claude, Copilot or ChatGPT for daily tasks.
