About the role
NEC Software Solutions is seeking a Moodle Developer and LMS Administrator with around two to three years of hands‑on experience. The role blends custom Moodle development with day‑to‑day platform administration, ensuring smooth delivery of e‑learning solutions for diverse clients.
Responsibilities
- Design, customise, and maintain Moodle plugins, blocks, activities and themes using PHP, JavaScript and Mustache templates.
- Integrate external REST APIs and Moodle Web Services, and manage scheduled tasks, cron jobs and background processes.
- Administer user accounts, cohorts, courses, enrolment methods, roles, permissions and site‑wide settings.
- Handle backups, restores, migrations and version upgrades while keeping custom extensions compatible.
- Monitor logs, troubleshoot performance or security issues, and optimise MySQL/MariaDB queries.
- Document configuration changes and produce clear technical guides for the LMS.

Eligibility
