About the role

Light & Wonder is seeking a Game Sound Designer for its Pune studio. Working in a hybrid setting, you will collaborate with animators, developers, and creative leads to craft high‑quality audio assets for casino‑style games, features and promotional material.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver sound effects for game mechanics, animatics and marketing videos.
  • Adapt and optimise audio files (OGG/WAV, mono/stereo) for mobile and online platforms.
  • Coordinate timing, length and integration of audio with developers and the creative team.
  • Maintain audio libraries and stay current with new sound‑design tools.
  • Ensure compliance with IP and copyright guidelines.

Eligibility

  • Relevant degree in a related field.
  • 3‑5 years of professional experience in game or multimedia sound design.

Skills

  • Strong proficiency with Cubase and Reaper.
  • Deep understanding of audio/animation timing and game mechanics.
  • Technical rigor and ability to troubleshoot audio integration issues.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Slack, Teams, JIRA and agile workflows.
  • Knowledge of additional plug‑ins such as iZotope or Native Instruments is a plus.
