About the role

Meesho is looking for a Product Designer II focused on Design Systems to shape a unified visual language across its e‑commerce platform. Based in Bangalore, you will collaborate with product, engineering and design teams to create reusable components, patterns and guidelines that boost consistency and speed of delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Define, build and maintain Meesho’s design system, including components, patterns and usage guidelines.
  • Craft reusable UI elements and interaction patterns that can be leveraged by product teams.
  • Partner with engineers to align component architecture, design tokens and implementation details.
  • Audit existing experiences, identify standardisation opportunities and drive adoption.
  • Support fellow designers in using and contributing to the system while championing accessibility and inclusive design.
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve the system’s effectiveness.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 3 years of product design experience, preferably in a company that builds design systems.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing system thinking, component design and scalable UX patterns.
  • Ability to work in cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Figma, including components, libraries and auto‑layout.
  • Understanding of front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS and React.
  • Attention to visual detail and consistency.
  • Experience driving alignment across product, engineering and design.
