About the role

Kyndryl is looking for an Application Support Engineer to join its mainframe modernization team. You will design, build and maintain high‑volume business logic on mainframe systems while refactoring legacy code for cloud and mobile integration. The position is based onsite at the RMZ TITANIUM campus and offers a full‑time schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor mainframe architecture and implement optimisations to sustain performance.
  • Debug, troubleshoot and test complex system interactions to keep critical applications running.
  • Extract and migrate business logic from legacy systems for cloud‑based services.
  • Collaborate with global experts to share knowledge and drive modernization initiatives.
  • Apply software development best‑practices to create scalable, robust solutions.

Eligibility

  • Proven experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
  • Strong coding ability in Java, Python or .Net.
  • Understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Skills

  • Java, Python, .Net programming.
  • Relational and NoSQL database handling, data mapping, XML/JSON.
  • RESTful web services development.
  • Microservices architecture, containerisation with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Message‑queue technologies.
