About the role

Conduent is looking for an entry‑level App Development and Support Engineer to join its India delivery centers. The candidate will work on building, configuring and testing applications that underpin various business processes, collaborating with cross‑functional teams in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

Write, debug and maintain code in languages such as Java, Python, .NET, C, JavaScript or SQL.
Apply software development lifecycle (SDLC) best practices to deliver reliable solutions.
Design and implement data structures, algorithms and object‑oriented components.
Execute functional and integration testing, and support system configuration tasks.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline with a minimum 7 CGPA.
Strong logical reasoning, analytical abilities and problem‑solving skills.
Effective communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to work independently.

Skills

Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, .NET, C, JavaScript or SQL.
Good grasp of SDLC concepts, data structures, algorithms and OOP principles.
Experience writing simple to complex SQL queries.
Familiarity with Oracle databases, REST/SOAP services and basic cloud concepts is a plus.
