About the role

Itron is looking for a Technical Support Analyst to assist enterprise customers using its AI‑powered SaaS solutions for utilities and city services. The role is hybrid in Bangalore, offering a blend of remote and on‑site work while supporting 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide empathetic technical support via email, chat, phone and ticketing for complex SaaS issues.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve escalated problems using logs, telemetry and tools such as Datadog, Sentry and Databricks.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Machine Learning and Customer Success teams to drive resolutions.
  • Maintain detailed case records, create knowledge‑base articles and support documentation.
  • Participate in release testing and contribute to process improvements.
  • Mentor junior team members and share technical expertise.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems or a related technical field.
  • Willingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Skills

  • Customer‑focused support for enterprise SaaS applications.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
  • Experience with observability tools (Datadog, Sentry, Firebase Crashlytics, Databricks).
  • Working knowledge of SQL; familiarity with Python is a plus.
  • Proficiency with support platforms such as Zendesk, Jira, ServiceNow or Salesforce.
