About the role
This six‑month internship is with HARMAN Automotive’s engineering team in Bangalore. You will create and run automated tests for infotainment and instrument‑cluster software, using Python and NI‑based test hardware, while learning automotive communication protocols and hardware‑flashing tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain Python‑based automated test scripts.
- Execute test cases on real vehicle hardware and software platforms.
- Analyze results, troubleshoot failures and log defects for the development team.
- Support lab‑based testing, including power equipment, SoC flashing and I/O control.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional engineers to identify issues early in the release cycle.
- Adapt to shifting priorities and contribute to project release plans.

Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a B.E. / B.Tech in Engineering.
- Strong foundation in Python programming and object‑oriented concepts.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn automotive protocols such as CAN, Ethernet, Trace, Audio or IPC.
- Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
Skills
