Site Reliability Engineer

About the role

Deutsche Bank is hiring a fresh‑graduate Site Reliability Engineer for its Bangalore office. The role blends production support, SRE, and DevOps responsibilities, focusing on Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes to design, deploy, automate, and maintain enterprise‑grade cloud applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure reliability, availability, and performance of production systems through robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools for deployment, scaling, and operational tasks.
• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Helm charts on GKE.
• Handle incident management, perform root‑cause analysis, and document post‑mortems.
• Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability and scalability into new features.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures.

Eligibility

• Fresh graduates from the 2025 or 2026 batch.
• Any engineering degree (B.E, B.Tech, M.Tech) or equivalent graduate qualification.

Skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and GKE.
• Kubernetes administration and Helm chart development.
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• CI/CD using GitHub Actions.
• Containerisation with Docker.
• Monitoring with Prometheus and Grafana.
• Service‑mesh technologies such as Istio or Anthos Service Mesh.
• Scripting or programming in Java, Python, Go, or Bash.
