About the role

The Administrator (Support & Operations) role at HCLTech, based in Noida, provides remote technical assistance for laptops, desktops and mobile devices. The incumbent troubleshoots hardware, software and network issues, supports virtual desktop environments, and follows ITIL processes to ensure smooth end‑user experiences.

Responsibilities

Deliver remote support for end‑user devices, handling hardware, software and network problems including BIOS‑level troubleshooting and system re‑imaging.
Assist with new user onboarding, account setup, and provisioning of hardware/software, including IMAC tasks.
Configure and optimise remote desktop tools such as Microsoft Remote Desktop, Citrix and VMware Horizon, and resolve VPN and connectivity issues.
Document tickets, resolutions and knowledge‑base articles, and collaborate with cross‑functional IT teams for complex incidents.
Follow ITIL‑based Incident, Problem and Request Management processes, monitor system performance and recommend improvements.
Adhere to security policies, manage software licenses, conduct training sessions and participate in asset lifecycle management.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
Fresh graduate belonging to the 2025 or 2026 batch.
Willingness to work shifts, including off‑hours and weekends if required.

Skills

Strong English communication (verbal and written).
Analytical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
Knowledge of desktop technologies and protocols (RDP, VDI).
Familiarity with endpoint management tools (Intune, SCCM, Jamf, MDM).
Proficiency with Windows, macOS and common business software (Microsoft Office).
