About the role

The Associate Engineer will join Tesco Business Solutions to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions that streamline business processes. Working on‑site in Bangalore, the role blends Python backend development, RPA tooling, and CI/CD pipeline creation to deliver reliable, production‑grade APIs and dashboards for internal users.

Responsibilities

  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and apply continuous‑improvement tools.
  • Design, build, and migrate Python‑based automation scripts, ensuring low‑cost rapid delivery.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build and release workflows.
  • Create and optimise PostgreSQL/MySQL schemas and data flows.
  • Build frontend monitoring dashboards using React, Vue or Angular.
  • Perform testing, user‑acceptance testing, and code reviews before production deployment.
  • Monitor solution runs, manage incidents, and adhere to SLA commitments.
  • Support and maintain underlying infrastructure, including version upgrades and server patching.
  • Handle change requests, documentation, and knowledge‑sharing activities.
  • Stay updated on technology trends and advise on best‑practice adoption.
