About the role

The Global Command Center at NCR Voyix is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer I to monitor and support critical applications and infrastructure across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments. The role involves first‑level incident response, routine maintenance, certificate management, and deployment validation, working closely with cloud, DevOps, networking and SRE teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor applications, infrastructure and cloud platforms for availability and performance.
  • Triage alerts, perform initial troubleshooting and escalate when needed.
  • Provide L1 production support and participate in incident response.
  • Maintain observability using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk and cloud monitors.
  • Carry out routine server patching and maintenance across Azure, GCP, AWS, VMware, Windows and Linux.
  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, ensuring timely renewal and installation.
  • Execute and validate deployments following change‑release processes.
  • Support operational readiness reviews and improve runbooks, escalation paths and documentation.
  • Automate repetitive tasks with PowerShell, Python or Bash scripts.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1‑2 years of experience in event management, production support, SRE, NOC/Command Center, DevOps or infrastructure operations.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, GCP and/or AWS.
  • Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift‑based support model.
