About the role
Comcast is seeking an Engineer 1 to join its Cyber Security Operations team in Chennai. The role focuses on monitoring network security, analysing alerts, responding to incidents, and conducting risk assessments to protect the company’s digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Monitor network security events, analyse alerts and restore environments after incidents.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to fulfil service requests and maintain security effectiveness.
- Stay updated on cyber threats, vulnerabilities and adversary tactics to guide defence strategies.
- Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing, and develop remediation plans.
- Assist in security audits, risk analysis and network forensics.
- Provide technical support during incidents, document findings and contribute to after‑action reviews.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree (preferred) or equivalent combination of coursework and experience.
- 0‑2 years of relevant work experience in cybersecurity or related fields.
