Information Security and Compliance Associate

About the role

Datavail is looking for a fresh graduate to join its Information Security and Compliance team in Mumbai. You will assist in implementing ISO‑based security, privacy and AI management programs, track audit tickets in ServiceNow GRC, and help generate compliance reports for senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Carry out periodic compliance checks and log findings according to ISO 27001, ISO 27701 and ISO 42001 guidelines.
• Maintain audit and compliance tickets in ServiceNow GRC, including health checks of security tools and daily alert reviews.
• Support internal and third‑party risk assessments, documenting observations and evidence.
• Assist with vulnerability management, DLP, endpoint security and SIEM reviews.
• Prepare dashboards and periodic metrics on security posture for management.
• Identify and suggest improvements to reporting processes and control effectiveness.

Eligibility

• Graduate in Computer Science or a related discipline (any graduate accepted).
• 0‑1 year of exposure to information security, audit or compliance.
• Strong communication skills and high integrity.

Skills

• Understanding of vulnerability management, SIEM and security monitoring tools.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 42001, NIST or PCI‑DSS standards.
• Experience with ServiceNow GRC for ticketing and audit tracking.
• Good analytical mindset and attention to detail.
